Tragic Accounts of Protection By The State

[Shyanna Durst, 11 months old, Galesburg. Died Feb. 9, 2003]: A neighbor who was the subject of a child abuse investigation agreed to baby-sit Shyanna. A DCFS caseworker allowed this arrangement. An inspector general's report stated the baby sitter, who had a sleep disorder, was lethargic because she was overweight. The report also stated she spent her family's benefits check on calls to psychic hot lines. When a DCFS supervisor learned the baby sitter's live-in boyfriend had a felony record for selling crack cocaine, the supervisor implemented a "safety plan" that required another adult -- a relative or friend -- to be with her children at all times. However, the baby sitter refused to allow a caseworker into her home to make sure another adult was there. Shyanna accidentally choked to death on loose binding from a mattress while the baby sitter slept. -- DCFS DISCIPLINE: None

[Brandon McBride, 10, Timothy McBride, 8, Pierre Walker, 10, Chicago]: The boys died after a fire on July 19, 2000]: DCFS licensing worker failed to ensure that a foster home had working smoke detectors. The worker rushed a licensing inspection because "the foster mother was in a hurry," an investigative report stated. The three children died after a fire July 19, 2000, that destroyed the home. After the fire, a second licensing worker employed by DCFS told an investigator that she "was unfamiliar as to how to check (smoke detectors) to find out if they are operational." A state fire marshal's probe concluded that the home had no smoke detectors. "The worker's admitted failure to check for fire hazards in the home may have cost three children their lives," the inspector general concluded. -- DCFS DISCIPLINE: Faced with discipline, the second licensing worker resigned. A child protection investigator received counseling.

[Tina Winston, 11, Palatine, Died July 10, 2000]: Two staff members at a residential facility for developmentally disabled children used by DCFS attempted to restrain Tina. The girl was extremely disruptive and took psychotropic medication. But the workers were unfamiliar with the restraint -- a choke hold -- and Tina died. Her death prompted four pages of recommendations from the inspector general about how to deal with children who are mentally disabled. -- DCFS DISCIPLINE: None

[Cheril Hobbs, 13, Chicago, Died Sept. 1, 1999]: A 13-year-old girl who lived in the same foster home stabbed Cheril to death. Juvenile authorities charged the girl with murder. An inspector general's investigation concentrated not only on the murder but the aftermath. "The caseworker demonstrated a shocking unfamiliarity with the case," the inspector general reported. Meanwhile, the girl accused of murder transferred to a public school in Chicago and was allowed to mingle with students. School authorities eventually learned about the murder charge and isolated the girl from the other students. While the girl was the first juvenile in Illinois to give a videotaped statement in a murder case, a judge found her not guilty on Nov. 2, 2000. -- DCFS DISCIPLINE: None

[Antonio Moseley, 2 months old, Chicago Heights, Died Sept. 8, 1998]: A teenage girl who was living in the same foster home beat Antonio to death. A therapist had recommended that the "severely emotionally disturbed girl" be placed in a home where she was the only child. But a DCFS caseworker and supervisor ignored the warning and "failed to monitor the home in a meaningful way," according to an investigation. The caseworker did not have time to check on Antonio because of "additional demands on (her) time preparing for a national accreditation process." -- DCFS DISCIPLINE: None

[William Jackson, 2 , Matteson, Died October 1998]: William, a foster child, died a week after the 11-year-old daughter of his foster mother placed him in scalding water. An inspector general's investigator reviewed the records of a private agency that had placed William in the foster home. "Instead of having access to the whole file on the foster mother, each worker was allowed to enter just their case notes," the report stated, adding, "The workers, therefore, did not have historical or contextual knowledge on which to base their decision making." William's foster brother, who was malnourished, had upper arms that "were the circumference of a quarter," according to a physician's report. The foster mother had pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance just before being licensed, but a system to catch such arrests "was loose and rarely worked in practice," the inspector general concluded. -- DCFS DISCIPLINE: Three private agency workers resigned.

[Boy, 9, and girl 16 died prior to 2002]: These children died after acute asthma attacks while living in separate foster homes. Private agency caseworkers failed to make any mention of asthma in either child's case file. Caseworkers did not have an Asthma Action Plan, even though the boy had been identified by the Department of Public Aid as one of the top 200 users of asthma medication in the state. -- DCFS DISCIPLINE: None

[Andres Saragos, 4-year-old, died after being left in hot car for hours, Warm Springs]: Tamera Coffee, 34, Warm Springs, pleaded guilty in federal court to charges she killed her foster child last summer by leaving him in a closed car in the hot sun. She pleaded innocent April 17 to the second-degree murder charges filed last year. On the morning she was to go to trial, she accepted a plea agreement and a 6 1/2 year sentence. Coffee admitted she left 4-year-old Andres Saragos in a car for nine hours on July 13, 2000. Temperatures topped 90 degrees that day. Coffee first told police Andres had been home all day, but later admitted she left him in the car with the windows down. After a polygraph test, Coffee changed her story again, telling police she left windows down half an inch and didn't check on the boy. A prosecutor said he had a witness who would have said the windows were completely up. In a written plea to the court, Coffee took full responsibility for the boy's death. Coffee was released until the judge makes a final sentencing decision on July 31. Andres had lived with Coffee and her husband for 21/2 years. The attorney for the distraught mother of a 19-month-old boy who died five days after he was taken into state custody said the child would still be alive had he been left with his mother.

"This is a case where the system went too far," said Scott Wasserman, a Lenexa lawyer. "Dominic Matz should not have been in foster care. He was fine when he was in his mother's care. He died because he was in foster care."

Records attribute Dominic's death to "lungs filled with fluid," Wasserman said, a condition his mother had been trained to prevent.

"It's our contention that had the person who was caring for Dominic been properly trained, this wouldn't have happened," Wasserman said. "His mother did, in fact, have that training and was taking care of her son when he was taken away from her."

[Initial autopsy: Restrained teen was suffocated]

Initial autopsy findings show that a teen who died in Ephrata over the weekend suffocated while being held down, the attorney for the teen's parent's said today.

His death was the second one in two months at the behavioral treatment center.

Karoly agreed that further tests need to be done, but said initial findings are indicating the teen suffocated.

Aletriz suffered a number of injuries consistent with that finding, Karoly said.

The autopsy showed evidence of a traumatic injury to the left side of the teen's head, chest compression, lesions inside his shoulders, and bleeding near
his shoulder blade, in his ribs and in his spinal area, the attorney said.

The teen, who was 6 feel 1 inch tall and weighed 260 pounds, also had bite marks on his lips and tongue and stomach material in his nose, also indicators that he suffocated, Karoly said.

He had been diagnosed as being bipolar and had struggled with anger problems, his mother said.

A three-year-old boy rushed to an Edmonton Hospital on the weekend died of head injuries, shows an autopsy report released Tuesday, when his foster mother also appeared in court on a second-degree murder charge.

Court documents filed by the Edmonton Police allege the foster mother committed assault causing bodily harm on the little boy from Dec. 5 -- the day she began to care for him -- until Friday.

[Social Worker Goes to Court] Jan. 16

An Eyewitness News investigation in November showed Moore failed to do a proper criminal history check before placing four-year-old Anthony Bars and his twin sister in the home of L.B. and Latricia Bars, but indicated on official court documents that she did.

L.B Bars had a battery conviction on his own daughter and a history of abuse in CPS records. Anthony and his sister were beaten and severely malnourished and Anthony died. Indianapolis Police did get a request for a background check on the Bars after the kids were already placed in the home. But even after getting the results of that, the children were left in the home. The state never even disciplined Moore for her actions. [Social Workers Ignore Child's Abuse Before 2003 Murder, Panel Rules] December 23, 2004 -- Seattle Post-Intelligencer Reporter

In the two months before 2-year-old Emerald Champagne Loop was murdered in 2003, social workers [Bjerkness and Campbell] in the Bellingham office of the state Department of Social and Health Services received five different reports of missing teeth and deep, unexplained bruises on the toddler's pale body.

But Emmie's Child Protective Services social worker and the social worker's boss never acted to take Emmie and her older sister out of harm's way.

Both Bjerkness and Campbell have since been reassigned to DSHS positions in which they do not provide direct services to children and famiies, she said. Neither could be reached for comment.

Fresno County Board Supervisor, Henry Perea is now asking the state to investigate Baby Roman's death. He says it was the county's responsibility to protect that child, but the County failed. Child Protective Services removed three month old Baby Roman after doctors told police someone intentionally broke the baby's arm.

Fresno Police now say CPS returned the baby to his father, but never told investigators. Detectives say it was crucial information because the father, Robert Quiroz, was under investigation for child abuse.

Cries for Help Ignored

Many of you know that I lost my first born and only child for ten years because we were visiting my ex who decided to slap him for misbehaving. If you are not familiar with our story, the link has been provided below. Now, lets compare and contrast my family's first and only encounter with child protective services (CPS) to that of Ruth Tamas and her sister Estera.

Ruth Tamas and Estera were living in the foster home of Enrique Fabregas. Fabregas, according to a newspaper report by the Seattle PI, is a Christian and sings in the church choir. What better foster "parent" could a child ask for -- right? After all, social workers must be extremely careful when choosing complete strangers to replace the parents God already gave them. But what happens when a simple background check fails to reveal the true character of a potential foster parent? And, can you really determine a persons future behavior based solely on their past behavior? If the foster parent has never been arrested, even though he or she may have graduated from High School only three years earlier, should this be the determining factor when deciding to place innocent children in their home? Before you answer, ask yourself this question: Would the current standards suffice if you were making decisions that would affect your own children? And, if there are red flags to indicate that the potential foster "parent" has previously battled drugs and/or alcohol addiction, do you place a child in their home? Once again, I ask you to think about your own children before answering.

Some may feel that if biological parents are given a second or third chance at recovery, shouldn't foster parents be given the same? I personally feel that foster parents should be of exemplary character and of sound mind. Just as we expect those running for political office to have lived a blemish-free life, so should the requirement be for foster parents. Is it fair to hold foster parents to higher standards than biological parents? Absolutely!! If children are removed from their homes, schools, family, and friends, because they were being "abused or neglected" at home or their parents are drug abusers, then they should be placed in safe environments free from the same type of abuse and neglect experienced at home ... assuming there are no extended family members to take the child. It makes absolutely no sense to remove a child from a home with parents who are addicted to drugs or alcohol ... and place them in another home with foster parents that are/have battled the same demons. Nor does it make sense to take a child from their parents home because the parents are unable to pay their utility bills and place them in a foster home with people that are living paycheck to paycheck or will rely solely on their monthly foster care grant for survival. Why not give that money to the biological family and leave the child with his parents.

Lets be honest here ... many, many, many, foster parents are simply fostering children as a means to supplement their meager household incomes. This has become a quick way for many women to stay home with their children and to earn money. It has become a quick way for wives to supplement their husbands income. And due to welfare reform, it has become a quick way for "welfare queens" to stay home while still collecting a check from the government. Are there foster parents out there that foster children for the love of children? Of course, but they are few and far-between. They are definitely a rare commodity ... like finding a lawyer or politician that does not lie!!

My personal thoughts from above have hopefully set the foundation for Ruth Tamas' story. According to published reports, Ruth tried for many years to alert authorities that her foster care giver, 52 year old Enrique Fabregas, was "physically abusing her and sexually assaulting her older sister." You would think social workers would react like a hairline trigger and immediately remove the sisters from this foster home -- which I GUARANTEE YOU would have happened if these girls were being physically or sexually assaulted in their biological parent's home. Yet, the abuse is reported for YEARS to these mandated employees, who simply dismiss Ruth's claims because they "never believed her." Very Interesting!! Not only is it interesting that the girls were left in this home ... but it is unbelievably interesting that the mandated social workers did not report the alleged physical and sexual abuse to local law enforcement. If the abuse was reported to the police, when was it reported and why were they forced to endure the abuse for years?

Acting on a tip, the police finally moved in and when they did, they found "piles of child pornography and explicit videotapes, most of which depicted the children in his care." Based on the evidence, Fabregas was reportedly arrested at his church. Relief and disgust are the published words used to describe Ruth's feelings ... "disgust for state authorities who had ignored her complaints ... All of them said I was lying ... He belongs in jail until he rots ... He ruined so many peoples' lives."

Child "welfare" authorities reportedly admitted to receiving eight complaints, of a sexual nature, against Fabregas while the girls were under his care -- Yet the girls would remain in his home for two years. It was not until Fabregas refused to take a sexual-deviancy evaluation that the girls were placed elsewhere. In what has become typical CPS modus operandi, reports of abuse and the welfare of children under the jurisdiction of the state ARE NOT priority. Once children have been seized and removed from their parent's care, the federal funding begins and nothing else seems to matter!!! It is not until Fabregas and other foster parents refuse the direct orders of their social worker, display a non-compliant attitude, or refuse to be dishonest, that immediate action is taken. This is also the case with biological parents -- nothing upsets a social worker more than a parent refusing to listen, fighting for their Constitutional and civil rights, or refusing to follow their orders; Child safety IS NOT their first priority -- degrading, belittling, destroying parents, and making money are their top priorities!!

Oddly enough, although authorities finally removed the two sisters, a third girl was allowed to remain in his care. This child was not a ward of the state and had been adopted by Fabregas ... so according to a spokeswoman for the Department of Social and Health Services, they "had no grounds to take action." As logic would lead any rational person to suspect and anticipate, this little girl would also report "incidents of sexual assault." Lets examine this more closely ... the girls were taken from their biological mother, for God only knows what reason, and placed with Fabregas. Having lost my child for reasons previously stated, I find it extremely difficult to comprehend their decision to allow two girls to remain in his care for years, completely ignoring their cries for help. Not only did they leave the girls in his home ... but they would also leave the third child in his home after the other children were removed! I will never completely understand the sick world of child "protection." The more you read, research, and discover, the more you realize that child protection and juvenile justice are two of the most destructive forces on U.S. soil.

Some may even find it questionable to place little girls in the foster home of a single man. But in a society that emphasizes "political correctness," this is not an issue that we are allowed to raise. Foster care appears to be a breading ground or shopping center for pedophiles, socio/psychopaths, and other degenerates ... giving them easy access to children, and the ability to profit monetarily from their abuse. But here is the statement that strikes a cord with me: "Unless we have enough information to take to court ... it's really difficult for us to remove a biological or adopted child." OH MY GOD ... this is the BIGGEST lie ever told!!! Just sit down, talk to me, talk to my son being held in foster incarceration, talk to the thousands of other parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, that have lost children to these greedy, money loving, self-serving, couldn't care less about children, lying PIMPS that exploit children, working both for and with CPS!!!

I can't speak for others, but in "my case" CPS and the local authorities KNEW they had no right to remove my son ... so what did they do? They created a bunch of lies and statements AFTER removing my son. They falsified documents, worked hand-in-hand with the District Attorney's office and local police, to prevent being held accountable for their actions. Naturally, the various players in this clever kidnapping scam corroborated each other's lies! As long as I am Black and a woman, which I will be both for the rest of my life, I don't think I'll ever experience anything like this again ... IT IS IMPOSSIBLE!!! I am FOREVER changed by this experience, as is my child, and our lives!! I have yet to tell our complete story, but I trust and believe that it will be told one day. But I will say this ... I have faith that each and every single individual that participated in the kidnapping of my child, as well as the kidnapping of other children here in the U.S. and abroad, will one day be held accountable for their actions. If they are not held accountable, then God is a liar ... and it is impossible for God to lie!! Now back to Ruth and Estera.

Fabregas, according to published reports, had a "drug-related criminal history" before becoming a foster parent. This, based on rational thinking and logic, should have prevented him from becoming both a foster and adoptive parent. Yet, the lovely folks in child "protection" felt that Fabregas "completed enough treatment" to earn a "certificate of rehabilitation." I have met biological parents that jumped through every CPS hoop set before them, but their children were not returned to them. Why is a simple certificate of rehabilitation sufficient enough for strangers/foster parents but not biological parents? I'll tell you why ... because returning children to their biological parents does not generate an adoption bonus from the federal government!!

After leaving Fabregas' home, tough as nails Ruth still fought for justice. Good for her! She continued reporting the abuse to other adults and even told them she had seen a "videotape of Fabregas having sex with her older sister, Estera." I assume this is what made the adults in her life pay attention. Not only was this freak allegedly videotaping his sexual escapades but it has been reported that he "began dressing Estera ... in lingerie and photographing her in sexually suggestive posses."

[My Daughter Was Also Adopted By An Unmarried Man]
It breaks my heart to think about the trauma that state officials have inflicted on my youngest child; First, by taking her from me and placing her with her biological father knowing that he has mental issues. They would then use his mental issues to remove her from his custody and place her in foster care. Next, she would be removed from the foster home and placed in a foster-to-adopt home. She was then adopted 15 months later, although I was allowed to keep my other two children. My daughter was taunted and used by malicious, greedy, state officials, for federal funds, bonuses, and reward money. She was adopted and forced to live with other adopted children when she has biological siblings who are at home being raised by me.

My child is now living with an unmarried man who is being paid by the state to care for her and three other adopted girls. This single "dad" has been allowed to adopt our daughters while collecting a state subsidy for each of them. I cry out to our politicians for help ... help to release my daughter from her fate and to return her home to her mother where she belongs.

State officials have justified the removal and subsequent adoption by saying that we no longer had a bond so there was no reason to return her to me, her mother. Why is it so hard for state officials to step-up to the plate and do the right thing?

Although we are unable to verify that this message was left by an actual CPS social worker, we decided to let the public judge. My personal belief, and biggest fear, is that she is in fact a social worker "caring for" our children. Like the sick foster parents that molest, rape, and kill our children, this person is sick! I wonder just how many CPS workers and agents like this woman are actually out there?!

The CPS will no longer tolerate this kind of slander!
Although you people may think it's "cool" to insult a corporation that is made to save the lives of helpless children, I for one am for a corporation's right to not have their name ran through the mud by a bunch of DEGENERATE, ALCOHOLIC GAMBLING parents! The only reason that the CPS has your children is because it was obvious to a court of law that you were either physically or mentally unfit to care for the children you had. So, from this I can only infer why some people here have lost their children to my lucrative corporation. For instance, one parent (name removed) who posted on this site was an obvious degenerate gambler and drug addict. She had no morals and had even less impulse control. Thankfully, my company was able to acquire the children in time before she had a chance to disembowel them. Another visitor to this site, (name removed), if that is her real name, writes an insane diatribe about magical powers and goblins or what have you. Clearly, she has lost what little mind she was born with and now teeters on the brink of absolute dementia, possibly to the point where she would've eaten her own kids or any kids around, really. So you see, the evidence mounts against you obviously stupid parents. The CPS has no reason to disband because of the likes of you intolerable human wastelands. The only reason why your children endure the alleged abuse at the hands of their aggressors is because of your faults as a parent. Either they welcome it more than other people, or are just inherently more susceptible to such things; the reason is unclear. What is clear is this, though: the children obviously bring this type of thing on themselves, most likely because of the faults of the parent. Those who wish to blame the CPS for their worthless dead children need only to look to themselves in shame! How dare you give up your child because you are unworthy! How dare you throw their future away! How dare you leave your child's life in the hands of strangers, expecting kindness to pour out from every orifice like some kind of kindness oozing orifice monster. But these monsters don't exist, and we can't expect them to anytime soon. The only solution for your stupid problems that comes to my vastly superior (and more rich) mind is that you should all go back in time and be better parents. That is the only way to save your ugly children.

Why You Must VOTE NO to Hillary Clinton's Run for President in 2008!!!

In 1997, then President Bill Clinton signed the American Safe Families Act (ASFA) (Public Law 105-89); In fact, it has been stated that Bill Clinton is the "Most pro-adoption President in history." Thanks to this Act and the efforts by the Clintons, many children and their parents have been torn to shreds. It is for this reason that I ask you to read the messages below, research the statistics, and VOTE NO to Hillary Clinton's run for President in 2008. It is time to VOTE NO to ALL candidates, current and future, who support the destruction of the traditional family unit.

(1) The Adoption and Safe Families Act, which was based in large part on the recommendations of the Administration’s Adoption 2002 report, made sweeping changes in adoption law so that thousands of children in foster care move more quickly into safe and permanent homes. President Clinton enacted a $5,000 tax credit to families adopting children, and a $6,000 tax credit for families adopting children with special needs. In the Balanced Budget Act of 1997, the President provided more support for families who adopt children with a $500 per-child tax credit. Under the Family and Medical Leave Act, parents can take time with a newly adopted child without losing their jobs or health insurance. Al Hunt of The Wall Street Journal called President Clinton the most pro-adoption President in history. In 2000, 51,000 foster care children were adopted – more than an 80 percent increase since 1996 and well on the way to meet the President’s goal of doubling the number of adoptions by 2002.

(2) I want to just take a step backward and tell you where this started. First and foremost, the First Lady has been committed to this issue for more than 25 years and has really been a leading force in the administration on adoption and child welfare and particularly on many of the provisions that are actually in this bill. A little less than a year ago, the President issued an executive memorandum directing Secretary Shalala to come back within 60 days with specific recommendations on strategies to move children from foster care to permanent homes and to double the number of children adopted or permanently placed by the year 2002. The report came back to the President on February 14 of this year and it outlined a very ambitious agenda with three key principles -- the first was that every child deserves a safe, permanent family; second, that children's health and safety should be the paramount concern; and third, that foster care is not -- is by definition a temporary situation, not a place for children to grow up.

(3) Part of what was in Adoption 2002, the President's report, which is now in this law, is to set a goal of doubling the number of children that are adopted by the Year 2002. Last year it was 27,000 children by 2002; it would be 54,000 children out of the foster care system. And one of the things that's part of that provision is a tracking system. And it's actually sort of interesting because it's the first time there's every been performance-based standards in the child welfare system.

Spank Your Child Go To Jail

Congresswoman Sally Lieber (D-CA 22nd) has plans to introduce legislation that would allow the authorities to arrest and/or fine ($1,000) parents who are caught spanking their children, if the child is under three years of age. If you are not familiar with the proposal by Ms. Lieber who reigns in the Mountain View California area ... zip code 94035, please read the links below. I have also posted my personal letter to Ms. Lieber.

This letter will be brief and hopefully direct without being rude. I just read a recent newspaper article of your proposal to ban the spanking of children under three years of age.

Let me begin by saying that if God does not step in soon, our Legislators here in the U.S. will collectively destroy life as we knew it. When and where do we draw the line on government interference or intrusion in family matters? We have social workers pulling children out of class to question them without parental consent. Social workers, acting on "suspicion," removing children from their schools or simply interrogating them while at school. Social workers are taking children to CPS endorsed clinics to be "checked out," without parental permission ... also based on "suspicion" or "allegations." Our juvenile courts are issuing orders to remove children from their homes, schools, and families ... without a parent ever being charged or convicted of a crime -- And, they do not have to tell parents where their children are being held captive. Once in the custody of the state, strangers are allowed to determine your child's religious affiliation, educational path, their association, their manner of dress, and even their "family." Acting on no verifiable proof, "law" enforcement agents and other "professionals" are able to bombard their way into our homes, at gunpoint, and seize our children ... once again, without the parent ever being charged or convicted of harming the child. And God forbid you fail or refuse to follow doctor's orders that your child be placed on mind-altering psychotropic drugs -- the courts will simply issue an order, supporting the doctor, to seize and medicate your child without your permission.

Now you want to criminalize parents for spanking their children?! What's next!! Will we all be required to have Nanny Cams in our homes to make sure that we are not spanking our children? If so, will laws also be passed to require us to have cameras in our cars as well? If you want to "protect" children, pass legislation to put cameras in the classroom, daycare centers, and everywhere strangers are allowed to "care" for our children.

With all the crime and injustice taking place in our world, I cannot believe our lawmakers are spending their time on such trivial matters. Yes, I said trivial. Abuse and loving, corrective, discipline ARE NOT the same thing! I was raised in a home with two parents and yes we were spanked. Actually, in Black communities most of our children are not simply spanked ... we get whippings. I never bled from a whipping ... I never had broken bones, as a result of a whipping ... I never went to school with black-eyes from a whipping ... nor did I go to school with bruises or burns. I may have had a sore tushy for awhile ... but that's it. And most importantly, I had the love of my parents. Although whippings were rare in our home, we did get them. My siblings and I knew that our parents loved us and were disciplining us because we were misbehaving -- where is the abuse in that?!

Having stated the above, I find it sad that those that were beaten as children are now in positions of power that they are not able to effectively and with impartiality handle. Many of you are biased and jaded due to your own unfortunate life/childhood experiences ... and now feel the need to "save the world" or to "rescue" little "abused and neglected" children. Many of you have lived very sheltered and privileged lives and now walk through life with blinders on ... hoping to mold the world based on your very narrow and limited perspective -- sad, sad, sad. My hope is that every lawmaker passing bills that will forever affect the lives of children and their families, actually have children of their own.

Once the parents have been arrested, what will happen to their children? Is this just another clever scam to separate children from their parents, thereby, placing them in foster care ... which would then generate more money for the state? Or maybe this is just a clever scam to ensure more CPS involvement in our homes. I assume that with the arrest for spanking, there would be a subsequent requirement to take parenting classes ... courtesy of child protective services? And, the agreement that parents will abide by the rules set by CPS social workers or run the risk of losing their children permanently. If the parents fail to comply with the case plan(s) set by CPS, naturally, parental rights would immediately be terminated and the children "freed" for adoption; This, of course, would also generate federal bonuses to those that are "qualified" to parent ... i.e., those with money, as well as agents working for and with CPS.

Let me ask you ... why the slow torture of Black and Hispanic families? You should just pass a mandatory bill to sterilize everyone of reproductive age unless they fall within a certain income bracket!

It is a well known fact that most Black families spank/whip their children -- Is the new Spanking Ban a covert way to punish Black families for doing so? It is also a known fact that most Black families have a spiritual base, therefore, respecting and obeying God's word the Bible and its admonishment not to spare the rod of discipline. I will not quote the various scriptures on discipline because I am sure you either know, have read, or can look them up.

I understand that you attribute the ever increasing violence in our society to spanking ... which, according to you, teaches violence. I guess you will eventually introduce legislation to ban certain music, videos, movies and television programs as well. To be quite honest with you, I think they do more damage to society than spankings ever could! And because some attribute the violent crime of rape to the clothes worn by women, I guess you will also ban certain types of clothing.

Not that it makes a bit of difference -- this is just my opinion,

FYI: A lot of our little Black children are walking, talking, dancing, cussing ... and can sing every popular song on the radio by age two. This law would require Black Families to wait well into their children's formative years before introducing discipline? If not, let me guess ... we will all be required to use the "Time Out" method of discipline ... because that's what you or your parents used in your homes? Give me a break!

Merry Christmas ... I Think?

T'was the night before Christmas, when all through this land,
Children are ripped from their parents, reaching out for their hand.
Traumatized and heartbroken, and wondering where
Their Parents were and if they soon would be there.

These children were crying, alone, in strange beds;
While visions of home danced in their innocent heads;
The children needed to be held on mommy's soft lap
Or by granny, papa, or auntie just to take a sweet nap.

Children crying out in the night with such a clatter,
Parents and families were all in a tatter!
CPS was tearing families apart in a flash,
Hearts were breaking, and hopes CPS did dash.

When what to my wondering eyes should appear?
Another drug-controlled child so full of hurt and fear,
Little out-stretched arms and confusion so mixed.
Children who can't understand why they needed to be fixed.

More rapid than eagles, the social workers they came,
Bullying and shoving and playing their cruel game.
The children cry out! Rescue us, save us. Please care!
Please let us go home ... please! And let us stay there.

From the top of their heads to the tip of their toes;
The traumas affecting them all greatly did show.
Separation anxiety, PTSD ... all of these and more are found;
The cruel results of "protection" by CPS abound.

They were traumatized from their heads to their feet,
Lonely and scared awaiting unknown horrors they'd meet.
Faces sad ... broken. Heartless workers changing their lives;
Causing nothing but sadness, hopelessness and strife!

Caseworkers spoke lies, their eyes showed their work,
Filling families with sorrow. Such injustice! How it hurts!
Parents desperately fighting for the children. Such woes!
Poor kidnapped children -- The cries how they rose!

We must fall to our knees, to our Father say a prayer,
The children taken from families are now everywhere.

This nations children are crying in a voice loud and strong.
Please, let us go home to our families where we belong.

For greed is the reason, our beloved children are stole;
with pretense that strengthening the family is its goal.
But federal bonuses encourage the theft of each child
While parents are condemned without a fair trial.

When are people going to open their eyes and see
The corruption that is destroying the family?
Parents jumping through hoops that social workers set
They are crying out but have received no justice yet,
